Founded in 1910, St. Thomas University is Canada’s only exclusively liberal arts, undergraduate university. Located in Fredericton on Canada’s east coast, the university overlooks the beautiful St. John River Valley.

Low IELTS score options for international students to learn English while you study your major. As low as IELTS 5.0 will be accepted.

Double majors offered. Experiential learning programs available while you study, including exchange programs to other countries.

Students must meet one of the following minimum English Language Proficiency scores.

  • CAEL 40, 50
  • CEQ B2 First

GPA requirements: 70/100

Who can apply?

The Bachelor of Arts programme is open to: high school applicants and adult learners.

Adult Learner applicants must submit a letter describing their educational background, work experience and academic plans. Mature candidates must also submit academic transcripts (e.g. high school, GED, etc.).


Scholarship available to International students. Scholarship application is made at time of study application. Not available to adult learners.
