New Brunswick PNP - Entrepreneur Stream

Applicants under this stream may purchase an existing business in the province, enter into a partnership with a New Brunswick entrepreneur, or can start a brand new business. The minimum investment required is $250,000 CAD. Investors are eligible for a $100,000 CAD refund after 1 year of starting the business.

They must also:

  • Live in and provide day-to-day management of the business in the province of New Brunswick
  • Have net worth of at least $600,000 CAD
  • Invest at least $250,000 CAD
  • Must continue to operate the business for two years from the date of the refund
  • Must create 2 full time jobs for Canadians
  • Must have 3 years of experience managing and owning a business (with 33.3% ownership), or 5 years in a senior management role
  • Be between 22 and 55 years old, language CLB/IELTS 5
